Forever Our Hero: Dillon Rinaldo Memorial

Memorial Mural, Fair Lawn High School, Fair Lawn, NJ, 2026, with Yellow Door Art Studio

In 2026, I painted this memorial mural at Fair Lawn High School in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, together with Yellow Door Art Studio. It honors Dillon Rinaldo (1997–2023), a Baltimore City firefighter who died in the line of duty.

The words “Forever Our Hero” stretch across an American flag. On one side, Dillon is shown in his Baltimore City fire gear; on the other, in his number 14 Cutters lacrosse uniform. The center door carries a firefighter silhouette above the words Courage, Friendship, Legacy, Always Lives, and the years 1997–2023.
