Lit Cafe

In 2025, I had the opportunity to create a custom mural for Lit Cafe, a cozy and creative space looking to bring more character to its interior. The café owner reached out with a clear vision: she wanted to fill an empty wall with a mural featuring their mascot, Kaldi, a figure inspired by the legendary story of Kaldi, the goat herder who discovered coffee.

The goal was to create something that felt lively, welcoming, and true to the spirit of the café. I worked closely with the owner to design a mural that would capture Kaldi’s energy while fitting seamlessly into the warm atmosphere of the shop.

For this project, I used Sherwin-Williams interior paint to achieve vibrant, long-lasting colors. I started the process by sketching the design with chalk directly onto the wall, allowing for adjustments and ensuring the composition felt natural before committing to paint.

The final mural transformed the previously blank space into a central feature of the café, giving customers a memorable connection to Lit Cafe’s story and atmosphere. It was a fun and rewarding project that brought the café’s identity to life in a bold, creative way.
