Rutherford Coffee Company

Since 2020, I’ve had the opportunity to work with Rutherford Coffee Company to create murals that make their café feel warm, inviting, and inspiring. From the start, the owners wanted the space to be more than just a place to grab coffee, they wanted it to feel like a second home for people meeting friends, relaxing, or working for hours.

Over the years, they’ve hired me for several projects, asking me to give certain walls a real sense of purpose, whether it was to create a cozy atmosphere, highlight a special corner, or inspire creativity among customers. Each piece was designed not just to decorate, but to encourage people to feel more at ease, more focused, and even more inspired while they sipped their coffee or worked on their ideas.

I used calming colors, natural shapes, and thoughtful details that tied into the welcoming energy of the shop. The artwork was created to spark imagination and creativity, making the café not only a comfortable spot but also a place where ideas could flow freely.

Throughout each project, I planned carefully around the café’s busiest hours to make sure the process didn’t disrupt the day-to-day experience. As the business evolved, I adapted the murals to keep the environment fresh, vibrant, and connected to the spirit of the community.

Today, the murals are a memorable part of what makes Rutherford Coffee Company so special. It’s been incredibly rewarding to see customers feel at home, and even more rewarding to know that the artwork helps inspire creativity in those who visit.
